Mario & Luigi: The Mask - Series Review

-Well, First of all, I wanna say that I met the creator of this show on the Net, and is a very charismatic guy.
-Second thing I wanna say, that this guy has brave, because there's so many that could writte things like; "Get a job" or "kill yourself" and he still continue making what he loves that is Fan-Made series based on Videogames as this an their upcomings; Raise of Toadstanic, and a Fan-Made series of Sonic The Hedgehog.

Well, let's go for part: First of all; The Plot

Since along time, Luigi has been under Mario's shadow, for been an scaredy cat, until one day is cheated by the Wario Brothers, and finds in the sewers a magical mask which have the powers of the evil nordish god Loki, and when Luigi put it, all their desires appear transform him in "The Green Thunder" (That's right, finally someone that does not use the name "The Mask"). The show features a new character; Ouroborus, who's trying to manipulate Bowser for find Loki.

Well, nos what I think about this;

Yeah, is a descent show, more that everything related with The Mask franchise (althoght I think that even the most absurd thing is better than Son Of The Mask), and maybe you will hate me for this, but I think that this is even better than the movie itself. Let me explain:

When I saw this comic: 

This aren't the thing that I was expect to see:

I don't see this thing very often (even if is an amateur) but this TimeLordParadox guy is a fucking genius, he's the symbol of the franchsie that nobody never be.

Now the review:

Well, first of all, this is just my opinion, and must not inffer in what you think.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!! Okay, fine, is not a masterpiece, but the comic wasn't either. I like how this guy is been dark in the story and the wearer of the mask is the only who should be funny, and that's how this cartoon works; Somebody is dark or neutral until put the mask.

I know that there's a lot of people who would hate it because its darkness, but that's the same people of all time; Purists of the character.

Why is that?

1) If you're expecting characters from the original comic book or the movies and cartoon as Stanley Ipkiss, Lt. Kellaway, Doyle, Walter, Rapaz or Peggy Brandt, maybe this cartoon will disapoint, all the adventures of this show are in the Mushroom Kingdom, and all the characters are Mario Characters (Mario, Luigi, Daisy, Peach, Bowser, Koopas, etc) but I think that the only Original Character in the show deserves a prize, and that is Ouroboros, he's a creepy character, If you don't think so, watch the show, and you'll see why this Ouroboros guy is very frightning (god bless TimeLordParadox) even more than all the frightning monsters of the films (Hannibal or Regan MacNeil for put some example).

2) It's a dark comedy, not for idiotics kids who never would understand the real sense of humour who make The Big Head a legend in the comics

What I can say it about them:

Leave alone the poor guy, he's making a series and you try to trow all his effort to the crap. Well, at least The Green Thunder gains something that the other Mask users wouldn't; a man who believes is him (That's right, the Tze-Green-Thunder guy in deviantART)

So that's it, maybe is a dark comedy, and the best attempt of make a Mask fan series, and all that stuffs, and I hope that this show will last until the end of the days of TimeLordParadox. Totally recommended ;)

Note for Michael Jackson's lovers: There's an awesome sequence of the Green Thunder dancing "Smooth Criminal" with the Koopas in the Bowser's castle.

10 Comic Book Movies that needs a Reboot

10) Elektra:

Jen Garner for me is okay, but mostly win so, Where's her reboot?

9) Fantastic Four

For me, the 2005 version is okay, if we compare it with the 90's version, but we need a reboot (Where Galatcus does not be a simple rain cloud)

8) Justice League

Well, maybe you had hear about a tv film about The Justice League in the 90's, that film, needs a reboot, but one where Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman be there, screw heroes from other earths, we want real heroes.

7) Ghost Rider:

Is not very often see heroes in flames (If you think so, you don't know The Human Torch and... The Torch from Namor), but god lord, this skeleton hero needs a reboot

6) Green Lantern:

The original was like chicken with orange... Very few people I know knew Hal Jordan as Green Lantern, that people need a movie were John Stewart be Green Lantern, and please, cast Will Smith to play him.

5) Watchmen:

Silk Specter barely hates The Comedian??? Dan and Laurie just make out one time??? Rorschach does not eat sugar cubes??? Where's the Alien from the other dimension in the destroyed New York??? The movie was a hit, but for me, remains a lot of things and there's not others.

4) Daredevil:

Ben Affleck as Daredevil??? Are you serious, with that, You know that I'm right.

3) The Mask

We all know the 90s comedy; The Mask, but what almost nobody know is that The Mask came from a comic book by Dark Horse Comics, and when I read the comic, I forgot the movie... I wanna see blood and violence, I wanna see the Big Head killing... When You're a kid, The Mask is your favorite comedy, and when you grown up with its comics, you totally forgot of the movie... Please Zack Snyder/Christopher Nolan/Joss Whedom, make a "Mask" movie

2) X-Men:

I love the movies, but the Prequels changed a lot the continuity, well, the trilogy did it as well

Here's a curious database: In X2, there's a scene where Hank McCoy appears as himself and don't as Beast, When I saw Beast in Last Stand Trailer I thought will explain how he transforms into in Beast, but don't, and in First Class we see something that made that scene X2 be totally pointless and unnecesary.

1) Batman

I heard about a Reboot in 2016, that would be great, but he really need it??? He's Batman, one of the best superhero and had an epic trilogy, now there's the thing; Batman is a good business, so Warner needs more Batman movies, and I think all the fans want to see more Batman adventures, so, that's why I think Batman is the more needed for a Reboot
